After several years of chronic illness - most of which has been reversed through lifestyle changes - I can confidently say that my catalyst for healing was the moment I brought my troubles to God. It was through faith that I knew healing was possible and that His ways (read: discipline and lifestyle changes) are always higher. In true Romans 8:28 fashion, He turned my struggle into something good, and I want to share that goodness with you.

"And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
My story began in 2012 (way before that actually, but we don't have all day). For four years leading up to this life-defining moment in 2012, I was in college and I was acting like it in the most stereotypical fashion: I was far from God, partying, and living like I was invincible - and I felt like I was. I was a dancer, a gym rat, and an avid runner. And then I suffered an adverse reaction to a medical procedure.
It hit me like a ton of bricks. Bye-bye dance career, sayonara gym days, and hello laundry list of health issues. I had some dark days, and I will spare you the details for now, but somehow I knew deep down I would heal. It took nearly 5 years of chasing this "knowing" before I really began seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. With only my intuition to go on, I had refused any medication offered to me (not recommending that - its just my story) and I began exploring what it meant to heal "naturally."
With time, I understood that in my own weakness, it was God who could truly restore me, and it was He who created all the tools that had been and would be helpful to me. With the Lord as my strength and through discipline, the changes in my health and my life have been beyond words.
Because of what God has done, I have a deeply rooted conviction to help others and to seek the truth - and my work is a blend of the two!
